About the Team Our mission is to build a world-class integration platform that empowers Workday customers to connect seamlessly with our services. We are a team of expert engineers passionate about developing robust, scalable, and highly available systems that serve as the backbone for thousands of critical integrations. About the Role We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team In this role, you will be responsible for crafting and building core data and transport components, microservices, and shared libraries. You'll work in a highly distributed environment, contributing to a platform that handles sophisticated integrations at a massive scale. Our Technology Stack Our primary tech stack includes Java and Scala with a strong background in multi-threading and concurrency to address the performance challenges of a high-throughput system. About You Basic Qualification - 8+ years experience in software development engineering, architecting, building, and scaling robust and efficient software systems - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. Other Qualification - A strong problem-solver who can build and develop high-quality, enterprise-grade solutions. You'll be encouraged to follow agile methodologies and continuous delivery practices. - A minimalist designer who prefers building small, reusable components that can be seamlessly embedded into larger applications and frameworks. - Proficient in software design principles with a solid understanding and application of Design Patterns. You must be able to build for scalability and high availability as part of your daily routine. - A collaborative leader who can bring people together to achieve delivery goals on larger tasks. - An excellent teammate with extraordinary communication skills, ready to contribute to a world-class team. - Experience with distributed systems and related technologies is a plus.
