Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Workday Functional Test Analyst focuses on testing and quality assurance for multiple Workday modules, ensuring accurate configurations and business processes through thorough testing, documentation, and stakeholder engagement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Testing & Quality Assurance - Execute test cases for Workday implementations and enhancements - Perform unit, integration, regression, and/or user acceptance testing (UAT) across Workday modules - Document and track defects, working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to resolve issues - Validate Workday configurations and business processes against functional requirements Functional Analysis & Support - Partner with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements - Translate business needs into functional specifications and Workday configuration requirements - Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues within Workday - Maintain detailed documentation of test results, configuration changes, and process flows - Provide regular status updates and testing metrics to project teams - Collaborate with HRIS, HRBP's, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Payroll, IT, integration specialists, and external consultants QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree in information systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. - 3+ years of experience as a Workday Functional Analyst or similar role. - Hands-on experience with testing tools (e.g., Workday Test Framework, Smartsheet or third-party testing platforms). - Strong understanding of Workday modules such as HCM, Compensation, Absence, Benefits, Talent, and Recruiting. - Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. - Experience with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies is a plus. PREFERRED SKILLS: - Workday Pro Certification or equivalent Workday training. - Experience with Workday Reporting (Custom Reports, Calculated Fields. - Familiarity with JIRA, ServiceNow, or other ticketing systems. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
