Key Responsibilities Staff Management Recruit hire train schedule and evaluate housekeeping staff Operations Oversight Direct and coordinate all housekeeping activities ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of cleanliness in guest rooms and common areas Quality Assurance Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public spaces to ensure cleanliness and maintenance meet established standards Inventory Supplies Manage and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies linens and equipment ensuring they are stocked and ordered as needed Budget Management Develop and manage the housekeeping department s budget monitoring expenses to stay within financial guidelines Guest Services Respond to and resolve guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping in a timely and professional manner Interdepartmental Collaboration Work collaboratively with other departments such as maintenance and front desk to ensure smooth and efficient operations Procedure Development Establish and implement effective housekeeping procedures and standards to promote a clean and safe environment Safety Security Implement and enforce safety and security protocols within the housekeeping department Skills Qualifications Leadership Skills The ability to lead motivate and manage a team effectively Organizational Skills Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities Communication Skills Excellent communication to coordinate with staff and other departments Problem-Solving The ability to identify prevent and solve operational problems Administrative Skills Proficiency in tasks such as scheduling budgeting and report writing Previous Experience Prior experience in a housekeeping role with experience in a supervisory or management capacity is typically required Job Type Full-time Pay 15 000 00 - 18 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Health insurance Paid sick time Provident Fund Work Location In person
