Job Description

Location: Hyderabad

We are looking for a highly motivated UAV Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with UAV systems, including Cube Orange setup, Ardupilot configuration, and connecting various UAV peripherals. This position is ideal for fresh graduates as well as professionals with up to 1-2 years of experience in UAV system engineering. The selected candidate will undergo training in Pune before being relocated to our office in Hyderabad for regular duties.

Responsibilities:

- Pixhawk Cube Orange Setup: Setup and configure the Cube Orange flight controller for various UAV platforms.
- Ardupilot Configuration: Install, configure, and calibrate Ardupilot firmware for UAV flight control, ensuring it meets performance requirements.
- UAV Peripherals Integration: Connect and configure UAV peripherals including GPS, IMUs, cameras, motors, servos, and sensors with the Cube Orange controller.
- System Testing: Conduct ground and flight tests to validate system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure all systems are fully operational.
- Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues in hardware and software during the integration and testing phases.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of system configurations, setup processes, troubleshooting steps, and test results.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, including software and hardware teams, to ensure seamless integration of all UAV systems.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry advancements, new tools, and technologies related to UAV systems.

Requirements:

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical, or related fields).
- Freshers or candidates with up to 1-2 years of experience in UAV systems engineering are encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills:

- Hands-on experience with Cube Orange flight controller setup and configuration.
- Proficiency in Ardupilot configuration and firmware management for UAV systems.
- Knowledge of integrating UAV peripherals such as GPS, ESCs, sensors, cameras, and IMUs.
- Familiarity with MAVLink and related communication protocols.
- Experience with Mission Planner or similar ground control software for UAV operations.
- Basic knowledge of C++/Python or other scripting languages for configuring and customizing UAV systems.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a passion for hands-on work and technology.

Location:

- Training will be held in Pune. After the completion of the training, the candidate will be relocated to Hyderabad for regular duties.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

- Experience with AeroGCS Orange/Green.
- Knowledge of UAV airframe design and integration.
- Familiarity with autonomous flight modes and UAV mission planning.
