Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a Mid-Level Design Engineer for a full-time position based in Coimbatore. The candidate should possess 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. The role involves utilizing advanced design software to contribute to the development and improvement of engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design engineering, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications and Skills - Proven experience as a Design Engineer with a minimum of 4 years in the field. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CATIA (Mandatory skill). - Strong knowledge of ANSYS for analysis and simulation to ensure robust design solutions. - Experience with Revit for developing detailed architectural design plans and models. - Capable of performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to predict how products react to real-world forces. - Comprehensive understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) for precise engineering drawings. - Expertise in 3D Modeling to visualize and design complex structures and components. - Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot design issues and develop innovative engineering solutions. Roles and Responsibilities - Develop and create detailed design layouts and technical drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CATIA. - Conduct thorough analysis using ANSYS and finite element analysis methods to ensure product reliability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product designs and implement improvements. - Maintain up-to-date design documentation and generate detailed reports for project stakeholders. - Ensure designs are compliant with industry standards and regulations for safety and performance. - Participate in the prototyping and testing phases to validate design effectiveness and address issues. - Utilize Revit for architectural design tasks, ensuring cohesive and functional project layouts. - Provide technical support and guidance throughout the entire design and execution process.
