Job Purpose To ensure maximum uptime and reliability of all lighting division machinery utilities and infrastructure by implementing effective preventive predictive and breakdown maintenance practices while driving cost optimization safety and compliance with automotive quality standards Key Responsibilities 1 Maintenance Strategy Planning Develop preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for injection molding machines vacuum metallizers hard coating machines ultrasonic welding machines LED assembly lines and testing equipment Ensure zero breakdown approach for high-speed production lines used in lighting assemblies Prepare control annual maintenance budget for the lighting division 2 Equipment Plant Maintenance Lead maintenance of specialized lighting equipment Injection molding hot runner systems for lens housing Hard coating UV curing machines Vacuum metallization and sputtering plants Ultrasonic welding vibration welding machines LED mounting PCB assembly equipment Photometric IP testing setups Minimize MTTR Mean Time to Repair and maximize MTBF Mean Time Between Failures Ensure proper calibration maintenance of photometric and optical test equipment 3 Utilities Facility Management Maintain compressors chillers cooling towers HVAC DG sets water treatment plants and electrical distribution systems Ensure ESD protection systems and clean room maintenance where LED assembly is carried out 4 Team Leadership Development Manage a team of maintenance engineers supervisors and technicians Train maintenance staff in handling specialized lighting machinery and robotic systems Build a knowledge base for troubleshooting recurring lighting equipment issues 5 Continuous Improvement Projects Drive automation projects in assembly and testing lines Implement energy-saving projects LED curing systems compressed air power consumption reduction Support new product line setups headlamp tail lamp indicator mirror housings 6 Compliance Safety Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 ISO 14001 ISO 45001 and customer-specific requirements Maintain documentation for equipment history calibration and preventive maintenance Conduct risk assessments and ensure safety protocols for high-voltage LED testing and UV curing equipment 7 Vendor Spare Management Manage AMCs with OEM suppliers e g Engel KraussMaffei Toshiba or Battenfeld molding machines vacuum metallizers coating machines Ensure critical spare availability for imported equipment with long lead times Optimize inventory costs while ensuring no line stoppages Key Skills Competencies Strong knowledge of injection molding metallization hard coating LED assembly and automotive lighting manufacturing processes Expertise in TPM Kaizen and Lean Maintenance practices Strong leadership analytical and troubleshooting skills Hands-on knowledge of robotics PLCs SCADA servo systems pneumatics and hydraulics Qualifications Experience B E B Tech - Mechanical Electrical Mechatronics Industrial Engineering 12-18 years of experience in plant maintenance with at least 5 years in Automotive Lighting Plastic Molding industry Prior exposure to handling imported machines Metallizers Coaters Molding Machines Robotics preferred Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 200 000 00 - 300 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Food provided Provident Fund Work Location In person
