Inviting applications for the role of Consultant - Senior Linux Administrator We are looking for an experienced Senior Linux Administrator to manage and maintain Linux-based systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in troubleshooting, virtualization, and automation, along with a proven track record of optimizing system performance. Responsibilities: .Administer and maintain Linux servers and workstations across multiple environments. .Troubleshoot complex system and network issues efficiently. .Manage virtualization platforms like VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V. .Automate processes using advanced scripting (Bash, Python, Perl). .Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios, Prometheus, or Grafana. .Implement security measures and conduct regular audits. .Perform system backups, recovery, and migrations. .Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations. .Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Qualifications we seek in you Minimum qualifications / Skills .Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent. .Expertise in Linux distributions (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat). .Advanced knowledge of virtualization technologies. .Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. .Proficiency in network protocols and firewall configurations. .Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
