Job Description: Dynamics 365 Tool Master Record Form Developer

Position Title:Dynamics 365 Developer Tool Master Record Form

Mode - Remote

Duration - 3 months+

Job Summary

Implement a customTool Master Record Formwithin the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) Asset Management module. This form will serve as the central repository for tracking tool data, including serial IDs, fixed asset records, utilization logs, status, and related documentation, supporting the current D365 implementation. The role requires expertise in D365 F&O customization and integration with Power Platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Form Development: Design and develop a custom Tool Master Record Form as an extensible entity within D365 F&Os Asset Management module.

- Implement fields for serial ID, fixed asset linkage, utilization hours, tool status (e.g., available, in-use, in-repair).
- Ensure the form supports manual data entry (e.g., utilization hours from paper documents).
- Customization and Extensions:

- Extend D365 F&Os Asset Management module using X++ and/or Power Platform (Power Apps) to create a user-friendly interface for the Tool Master Record.
- Configure data validation rules (e.g., unique serial numbers, condition-based depreciation profiles).
- Integration:

- Ensure linkage with Sales Agreements for billing data (usage hours).

Qualifications

- Experience:

- 3+ years of experience developing and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (or Dynamics AX).
- Proven expertise in X++ programming, D365 F&O data entities, and form development.
- Experience with Asset Management, Inventory Management, or Sales and Marketing modules in D365 F&O.
- 1+ years of experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) for D365 integrations.
- Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in X++, Visual Studio, and LCS (Lifecycle Services) for D365 development.
- Knowledge of D365 F&O data models, tables, and APIs.
- Experience with Power Apps for custom forms and Power Automate for workflow automation.
- Understanding of SQL, OData, and REST APIs for integrations.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps for version control and deployment.

Key Deliverables

- Fully functional Tool Master Record Form in D365 F&O Asset Management module.
