Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our core team at timepay.ai. In this role, you'll work closely with our CTO and product team to design, build, and scale the platforms that power our AI Agents for the BFSI industry. You'll play a critical role in turning product ideas into realitymaking key architectural decisions, shipping features end-to-end, and ensuring our systems are robust, scalable, and impactful.

Responsibilities

- Lead the end-to-end software development lifecyclefrom ideation and design to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Architect and build scalable, secure, and high-performance full-stack applications using modern technologies and best practices.
- Work closely with the CTO and product team to translate business requirements into technical solutions that deliver real impact.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code across front-end and back-end systems.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to high engineering standards.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and resilience.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to building a strong engineering culture.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues across distributed systems.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and bring fresh ideas to the team.
- Proficiency in Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with a proven track record of shipping production-grade systems.
- Front-end expertise: Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Next.js).
- Back-end expertise: Proficiency in Node.js and Python, with solid experience in RESTful API design. As well as designing low latency streaming service using websockets at scale
- Database experience: Hands-on knowledge of relational (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Elasticsearch, Redis) systems.
- Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with AWS or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization using Docker or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban) with cross-functional teams.
