Job Title: Technical Writer – AI Operations Experience: 10+ Years Location: Remote (India) Work Type: Full-time (40 hrs/week) or Part-time (20 hrs/week) Working Days: Monday–Friday About the Role We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join our AI Operations team. You’ll play a key role in designing clear, structured, and high-quality instructions for human evaluators and data labeling tasks that power our GenAI initiatives. This role bridges the gap between AI researchers, engineers, and human taskers—ensuring that complex workflows are transformed into simple, actionable guidelines. Key Responsibilities - Lead the strategy and creation of rater task instructions and templates for AI/GenAI programs. - Collaborate with product and research teams to define task requirements and design principles. - Develop, test, and refine instruction sets to minimize ambiguity and improve data quality. - Build and deliver internal training programs and maintain a knowledge base on task design best practices. - Translate complex technical details into clear, structured documentation and QC rubrics. - Act as a pilot user for new workflows, providing feedback to improve clarity and usability. Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. - 10+ years in technical writing, instructional design, or documentation for technical audiences. - Experience in creating instructions for HITL (Human-in-the-loop) or rater platforms. - Proficiency with HTML, Markdown, Git, Python, or data analysis. - Strong skills in collaboration, writing clarity, and project management. Preferred Qualifications - Advanced degree in Technical Communication, Instructional Design, or HCI. - Experience in crowdsourcing, human evaluation platforms, or rater-based data collection. - Familiarity with AI/ML workflows and data labeling processes. - Analytical mindset with ability to use data to refine task design and quality. Work Details - Mode: Remote - Hours: 20 or 40 hours per week (Weekdays only) - Duration: Long-term engagement - Budget: Based on candidate’s experience and expectations
