- Embedded Hardware Engineer to design, develop, and validate hardware for embedded systems. Strong experience in schematic capture, PCB design, and a solid understanding of embedded systems architecture, including microcontrollers, sensors, and communication interfaces. - Design and develop hardware for embedded systems, from concept through production. - Create detailed schematic diagrams using tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, KiCad, or Eagle. - Design DC/DC converters, LDO regulators, battery management circuits, and motor driver stages (DC, BLDC, or stepper). - Develop power distribution networks, protection circuits, and ensure system-level power integrity. - Optimize PCB layouts for signal integrity, thermal management, and EMI/EMC compliance. - Component selection based on electrical, mechanical, and cost considerations. - Design and review multi-layer PCBs with attention to signal integrity, power distribution, EMI/EMC compliance, and manufacturability. - Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure enclosure and thermal compatibility. - Bring up and debug prototype boards. - Conduct hardware validation and testing using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other diagnostic equipment. - Support firmware engineers during integration and debugging of hardware-software interfaces. - Generate and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials), design documentation, and hardware test procedures. - Bachelor’s or master’s in electrical engineering, Electronics, or related field. - Experience: 2–7 years of experience in embedded hardware design (depending on level). - Hands-on experience with lab instruments (oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer).
