About Ferguson Ferguson is the largest value-added distributor serving the specialized professional in the residential and non-residential North American construction market We help make our customers complex projects simple successful and sustainable by providing expertise and a wide range of products and services from plumbing HVAC appliances and lighting solutions to pipe valves and fittings water and wastewater solutions and more Headquartered in Newport News Virginia Ferguson has sales of 29 6 billion fiscal year 24 and approximately 35 000 associates in nearly 1 800 locations ANSR is the market leader in enabling organizations to build manage and scale global teams through Global Capability Centers GCCs ANSR s full-stack GCC platform comprising end-to-end Al- enabled products and services is trusted by the world s best companies to help them set up manage and run their high-impact technology centers Since its inception ANSR has established over 125 GCCs aggregating to over 125k enterprise talent with over 2B in investment and using over 12M sq ft of workspace Visit ansr com for more information Duties and Responsibilities Overall 3 years of QA Functional testing Solid understanding of software testing principles methodologies and standard processes Must have extensive Manual Functional testing experience Some hands-on experience in Automation testing using Selenium with Java Python etc with a focus on Business-Driven Development i e Cucumber Able to write test plans create and execute test scripts and report defects clearly for Functional Testing Involved in peer-review of test scripts for Functional Smoke Regression and System testing Organizing monitoring defect management process Attend status calls as needed to report on testing progress Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced quality assurance engineers in standard methodologies for quality Collaborate closely with onshore team member s to communicate timelines progress and the work you ll be doing on the project Qualifications and Requirements Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science Information Systems Software Engineering or related Experience with Project Quality Management tools such as Atlassian Confluence JIRA qTest ALM Experience working in Agile Scrum environments Proficient knowledge of the STLC various testing concepts e g functional usability performance and methodologies for ensuring software quality Basic understanding of SQL Experience using postman Good teammate go-getter demeanor and able to work independently in a faced-paced environment Experience in working UniData Mainframe is a plus Experience with Python is a plus Experience in Pricing applications is a plus Experience testing integrations is a plus Experience in performance testing is a plus
