Job Profile Mechanical Draftsman Job Location Satara- Maharashtra Desired experience 2-7 Years Course Specialization Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Drafting or a related field Probation Training Period 6 Months Salary 18 000 - To 40 000 - Date of Joining Immediate Job summaryThe Mechanical Draftsman will create modify and manage detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and models for complex mechanical components equipment and systems This role requires precision and the ability to interpret engineering designs and translate them into accurate drawings for manufacturing and installation in line with relevant industry standards and company specifications Responsibilities Drafting and modeling Prepare detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings for components assemblies and systems using CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks Documentation Create general arrangement GA fabrication machining and piping drawings for heavy engineering equipment including pressure vessels boilers and other process equipment Technical collaboration Work closely with the engineering and production teams to review and interpret design requirements and resolve potential manufacturing issues Material management Prepare and manage Bills of Materials BOMs for projects and work with the SAP MM module for tracking and procurement Standards and quality Ensure all technical drawings comply with relevant industry standards e g ASME ISO and company quality assurance requirements Revision control Manage drawing files revisions and project documentation systematically to ensure all stakeholders are using the most current information Problem-solving Assist the engineering team by identifying and communicating potential design or production problems and suggesting effective solutions Qualifications Education Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Drafting or a related field Experience 2-5 years of proven experience as a Mechanical Draftsman preferably within a heavy engineering or process equipment manufacturing environment CAD skills Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drafting and SolidWorks for 3D modeling Industry knowledge Familiarity with the sugar nuclear defense or similar heavy engineering industries would be advantageous SAP knowledge Basic awareness of the SAP MM module for managing materials and BOMs is a plus Technical skills Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles manufacturing processes and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing GD T Soft skills Excellent attention to detail strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team Job Type Full-time Pay 18 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Work Location In person
