Job Description- AV CAD Engineer

As aCAD Draughtsman, you will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed CAD drawings and schematics for AV projects. You will collaborate with engineers and designers to create clear and functional designs that meet project requirements. Your role is essential in ensuring that all technical drawings are aligned with client specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for AV systems, including schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, and elevations.
- Work closely with project engineers and managers to understand project requirements and design criteria.
- Develop AV system schematics, including audio, video, lighting, and control systems based on instructions provided.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, industry standards, and company guidelines.
- Revise and update designs based on feedback from engineers, project managers, and clients.
- Maintain and organize CAD libraries, templates, and blocks for efficient reuse.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of AV designs with electrical, architectural, and other agencies.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to CAD drawings during the installation phase.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest CAD software, tools, and technologies relevant to AV design.

Requirements

Key Qualifications:

Experience:2-4- Years of Experience in CAD.

Technical Skills:Proficiency in AutoCAD. Experience with Sketch-up, 3D Max and BIM (Building Information Modelling) is a plus.

Detail-Oriented:Strong attention to detail with the ability to create highly accurate technical drawings.

Communication Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and with clients.
