What You'll Contribute

- Manage the operations and stability of the environments in accordance with established procedures and best practices,
- Help identify continuous process and procedural improvements.
- Drive incidents to resolution during scheduled upgrade activities and tasks.
- Assist management with assigned projects.
- Assist in incident and investigation resolution.

What We're Seeking

- 4+ years of experience.
- Intermediate to advanced Linux OS experience.
- Experience and knowledge of multi-layered distributed application systems, including relational databases, messaging services (i.e. Kafka), deployed on containerized services (Kubernetes) and cloud services (AWS)
- Experience with real-time client solutions, including client business logic and requirements.
- Knowledge of application deployment technologies (JBoss, Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server, etc)
- Working knowledge of networking systems and protocols, firewalls, and TCP/IP networks, standards, and architectures
- Familiarity with ITIL standards and technologies.
- Comfortable to work in shifts.
- Scripting/programming experience with Python or UNIX Shell is a plus.
- Ambitious and self-driven.
