We are a growing team of 60+ people, working primarily remote, headquartered in Australia and consisting of teams working across APAC and Europe.

About the Role

Were looking for a curious and motivated AI Engineer (Intern) to join our team for a hands-on learning experience in building AI-powered systems for media planning, campaign optimization, and performance monitoring.

In this role, youll assist in developing task-focused AI tools, experimenting with conversational interfaces, and supporting our backend AI services. Youll work closely with senior engineers to learn how applied AI can drive smarter media outcomes.

Role Responsibilities:

- Assist in developing and testing backend services using Python (FastAPI/Flask)
- Support the creation of AI workflows using frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex
- Help integrate conversational AI features into analytics and reporting tools
- Contribute to retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) setups for insights and automation
- Learn to build and maintain simple ML pipelines for campaign optimization
- Participate in A/B testing experiments and data analysis
- Collaborate with product and analytics teams to support dashboards and reports

Role Requirements:

- Around 6 months of hands-on experience in Python backend or data-related projects (academic or professional)
- Exposure to AI tools or libraries such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar
- Basic understanding of LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude) and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Chroma)
- Some familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and version control (Git)
- Strong willingness to learn, experiment, and adapt quickly
- A collaborative mindset with attention to detail
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field
- Ambitious with strong values of collaboration, agility, and willingness to challenge the status quo
