Job Description Location: Bengaluru | Employment Type: Contract | Department: HR Key Responsibilities - Own full-cycle IT recruitment for a variety of technical roles (e.g., Software Engineers - frontend/backend, DevOps, SRE, Data Engineers/Scientists, QA, Cloud, Security). - Proactively source passive and active candidates using Advanced Boolean search, X-ray techniques, and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, AngelList, and relevant job boards. - Manage candidate pipeline using ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Taleo); maintain accurate records, move candidates through stages, and ensure data hygiene. - Screen resumes and conduct initial technical and behavioral phone/video screens; coordinate technical assessments (coding tests, take-home tasks) and debrief results with hiring managers and interviewers. - Partner closely with hiring managers and engineering stakeholders to define role requirements, create interview scorecards, design interview loops, and provide market/compensation insights. - Drive candidate outreach, engagement, and employer branding initiatives; manage offer process and negotiate offers in partnership with HR and hiring managers. - Track and report on hiring metrics (time-to-fill, time-to-hire, source-of-hire, interview-to-offer ratio, quality-of-hire) and continuously optimize sourcing strategies based on data. - Build talent pipelines and talent communities for hard-to-fill skills; perform regular talent mapping and market research. - Mentor and train junior recruiters on sourcing best practices, Boolean search techniques, ATS workflows, and candidate screening. - Maintain compliance with hiring policies and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience. - Minimum 8 years of experience in IT/technical recruiting or talent acquisition, ideally in fast-paced technology environments. - Demonstrated proficiency with ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Taleo) and CRM/workflow tools for recruitment. - Strong experience with Boolean search, X-ray, and other advanced sourcing techniques; familiarity with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow). - Proven experience conducting technical screening and coordinating technical interview processes with engineering teams. - Excellent stakeholder management skills able to partner with hiring managers, interviewers, and senior leaders to drive hiring outcomes. - Data-driven mindset: experience tracking and reporting hiring metrics and building simple dashboards to inform decisions. - Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present candidate shortlists and hiring updates to stakeholders. Preferred Skills - Hands-on experience with technical assessment platforms (e.g., HackerRank, Codility, CoderPad, HireVue) and designing evaluation criteria. - Experience optimizing ATS workflows, building interview scorecards, and standardizing evaluation rubrics. - Familiarity with employer branding, outreach campaigns, and passive candidate engagement strategies. - Understanding of developer tech stacks, cloud technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure), and modern engineering practices to improve screening accuracy. - Experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) hiring best practices and inclusive sourcing strategies. - Strong analytical skills and experience using hiring metrics to reduce time-to-fill and improve quality-of-hire.
