Job Title: IVR Speech Recognition Specialist Location: Remote (USA, Canada, Europe, India) Contract Duration: 3 Months (Extendable) to Potential Permanent Roles Working Hours: - Eastern Time (USA) - Central Time (USA) - Pacific Time (USA) - Central Europe Time - Indian Standard Time Job Summary We are seeking experienced IVR Speech Recognition Specialists to support the design, development, implementation, and optimization of speech-enabled IVR solutions. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience working with Nuance IVR technologies, including Nuance Application Studio, Nuance Experience Studio, and Nuance Test Studio. Responsibilities - Design, develop, and implement IVR call flows and speech-enabled applications - Work with Nuance tools to build and enhance speech recognition experiences - Create conversational IVR dialogs aligned with business requirements - Perform requirements gathering, documentation, and functional analysis - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, QA, business analysts, architects) - Conduct testing, tuning, and troubleshooting of IVR solutions - Optimize speech recognition performance and user experience - Integrate IVR systems with backend applications and contact center platforms Required Skills & Qualifications - Hands-on experience with Nuance IVR platforms (Application Studio, Experience Studio, Test Studio) - Strong understanding of IVR technologies, VXML/CCXML, ASR/TTS, grammars - Experience in speech IVR design, conversational flow development, or speech tuning - Ability to analyze customer journeys and translate business needs into IVR logic - Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills - Experience in contact center technologies is a plus Preferred Backgrounds - IVR Speech Recognition Implementation Specialist - IVR Architect / Designer - IVR Speech Business Analyst - Conversational Speech IVR Specialist
