Conduct original research in the candidate's field of expertise, leading to scholarly publications in reputable journals, conference presentations, and contributions to the scientific community. Secure external research funding through grant applications and collaborative projects, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and the institution's research profile. Supervise and mentor graduate students in research projects, fostering their growth as emerging scholars. Participate in departmental and institutional committees, contributing to academic governance and decision-making processes. Engage in outreach activities that promote the sciences and the institution's visibility in the local and global community. Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects, fostering a culture of cross-disciplinary research and teaching. Stay current with advancements and trends in the sciences by attending conferences, workshops, and professional development opportunities. Continuously enhance teaching strategies and research methodologies to promote academic excellence and innovation.
