Job Title: Horticulture & Plant Science Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional with a solid foundation in plant science, horticulture, soil and fertiliser management, and landscaping. This role blends hands-on horticultural knowledge with client-facing and leadership responsibilities. You will be managing indoor plant installations, nursery operations, garden projects, and offering expert consultancy to clients on plant care and landscaping solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage indoor plant care, nursery operations, and landscaping projects

Conduct assessments and provide recommendations on soil management and fertilizer usage

Design and maintain landscapes for commercial and residential properties

Serve as a point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent service and technical advice

Lead and train junior staff, gardeners, and field workers

Oversee procurement and inventory of plants, seeds, fertilizers, and tools

Monitor plant health and apply pest/disease management techniques

Prepare and present project proposals, timelines, and maintenance schedules

Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on project execution

Stay updated with the latest trends in plant science, botany, and sustainable gardening

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Agronomy, Botany, Horticulture, Plant Science, or related fields

3–5 years of hands-on experience in indoor plants, gardening, landscaping, or nursery management

Strong knowledge of soil types, fertilisers, and plant health management

Excellent communication and client-facing skills

Proven leadership and team management abilities

Ability to handle project planning and operational tasks

Comfortable working in Kuwait's climate and environment

Strong organizational and documentation skills

Language skills: English (required), Arabic (a plus)

Preferred Experience:

Working with indoor and tropical plants in GCC countries

Familiarity with irrigation systems and hydroponics

Exposure to both residential and commercial landscape projects
