SYSTRA has Design and supervision experience of about 40 km of bridges as part of 96 road and highway projects. We are seeking applications for the position of Environment/ Forest Expert for Mumbai Coastal Road Project Missions/Main Duties: - Conduct environmental and forest assessments, including field surveys and impact analysis. - Advise on regulatory compliance related to forest and environmental laws. - Prepare and review Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Forest Clearance documents. - Develop mitigation plans and monitor implementation. - Liaise with government agencies and stakeholders. - Support project planning, design, and execution from an ecological perspective. - Promote best practices in biodiversity conservation and natural resource management. Profile/Skills: - Environmental and forest survey techniques - Impact assessment and analytical skills - Knowledge of environmental and forest regulations - EIA and Forest Clearance documentation - Mitigation planning and implementation monitoring - Stakeholder engagement and liaison - Project planning and ecological integration - Biodiversity conservation best practices - Strong communication and report-writing skills - Problem-solving and decision-making abilities : We commit to put people who join us at the heart of improving transportation and urban infrastructure efficiency.
