Company Description Company Description Join us at Accor where life pulses with passion As a pioneer in the art of responsible hospitality the Accor Group gathers more than 45 brands 5 600 hotels 10 000 restaurants and lifestyle destinations in 110 countries While each brand has its own personality where you will be able to truly find yourself they all share a common ambition to keep innovating and challenging the status-quo By joining us you will become a Heartist because hospitality is first and foremost a work of heart You will join a caring environment and a team where you can be all you are You will be in a supportive place to grow to fulfil yourself to discover other professions and to pursue career opportunities in your hotel or in other hospitality environments in your country or anywhere in the world You will enjoy exclusive benefits specific to the sector and beyond as well as strong recognition for your daily commitment Everything you will do with us regardless of your profession will offer a deep sense of meaning to create lasting memorable and impactful experiences for your customers for your colleagues and for the planet Hospitality is a work of heart Join us and become a Heartist We are seeking a talented and dedicated Commis II - Tandoor Cuisine to join our culinary team in Mysuru India As a key member of our kitchen staff you will assist in the preparation and cooking of authentic tandoor dishes contributing to our restaurant s reputation for excellence in Indian cuisine Assist the Chef de Partie and senior kitchen staff in preparing and cooking tandoor dishes Maintain and operate the tandoor oven ensuring proper temperature control and cooking techniques Prepare ingredients for tandoor cooking including marinating meats and vegetables Ensure the highest standards of food quality presentation and hygiene in the tandoor section Follow recipes and cooking methods as directed by senior chefs Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure efficient food preparation and service Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards including HACCP procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area including proper care of kitchen equipment and utensils Assist with inventory management and stock rotation in the tandoor section Participate in menu development and suggest improvements for tandoor dishes Support other kitchen sections as needed during peak hours or special events Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent culinary qualifications Previous experience in a professional kitchen preferably with focus on tandoor cooking Proficiency in tandoor cooking techniques and equipment operation Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine particularly tandoor specialties Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards including HACCP Excellent attention to detail in food preparation and presentation Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Physical stamina to stand for long periods and work in a hot kitchen environment Willingness to learn and adapt to new cooking techniques and recipes Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays Basic knife skills and food handling techniques Excellent time management skills
