We are seeking a skilled and driven Unreal Technical Artist to join our expanding team and play a key role in the success of our eVTOL program. Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Unreal Technical Artist to lead the design, development, and optimization of our real-time visualization, simulation, and rendering pipelines. In this role, you will architect robust and high-fidelity Unreal Engine solutions that ensure accurate visual representation, performance, and interactivity across all phases of aircraft development, demonstration, and simulation. You will collaborate closely with the design, engineering, simulation, and marketing teams to achieve integrated performance and compliance with creative and technical requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Architect, design, and optimize real-time visualization systems for eVTOL aircraft ensuring performance, visual accuracy, and robustness. - Develop and implement advanced Unreal Engine workflows including materials, shaders, lighting, Blueprints, Nanite/Lumen setups, and real-time rendering pipelines. - Design and tune cinematic sequences, camera paths, lighting profiles, and environment setups for product films, simulations, and interactive showcases. - Develop asset processing frameworks (CAD import pipelines, LOD systems, retopology workflows) for accurate and efficient real-time integration. - Conduct modelling, real-time simulation visualisation, and performance analysis to evaluate rendering behaviour under different platforms and performance constraints. - Define Unreal Engine pipeline requirements, interfaces, and performance metrics; ensure alignment with system-level creative and technical standards. - Collaborate with engineering, flight dynamics, and simulation teams for integration of procedural animations, cockpit interactions, and physics-driven behaviour. - Support VR/AR experiences, interactive demos, and real-time environments used in presentations, tests, and partner engagements. - Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for asset guidelines, workflow processes, performance optimizations, and review materials. - Stay abreast of emerging Unreal Engine technologies and implement innovations in real-time visualization suitable for advanced air mobility platforms. Qualifications: - Experience in Technical Art, Computer Graphics, Game Development, VFX, or related fields. - Experience in Unreal Engine development, preferably within simulation, automotive, aerospace, or high-fidelity visualization domains. - Strong understanding of real-time rendering, material systems, lighting theory, and performance optimization techniques. - Proven expertise in CAD-to-Unreal workflows, mesh optimization, retopology, UV mapping, and game-ready asset development. - Proficiency with Unreal Engine tools including Blueprints, Sequencer, Materials, Lumen, Nanite, and performance profiling. - Familiarity with real-time visualization for engineering, simulation, or interactive product environments. - Understanding of environment creation, cinematic workflows, and physics-driven real-time effects.
