Your Role
As a Power & Thermal Firmware Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing embedded firmware that manages power states, voltage regulation, and thermal behavior. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal system performance.
In this role, you will:
- Design and develop firmware for power management, voltage regulation, and thermal control in embedded systems
- Implement algorithms for DVFS, thermal throttling, fan control, and power state transitions (S-states, C-states, P-states)
- Develop and optimize low-level drivers, board bring-up, and hardware-software interfaces for power/thermal features
- Collaborate with hardware, BIOS, OS, and validation teams to ensure end-to-end functionality
- Debug complex power and thermal issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and software tools
- Support system-level validation, performance tuning, and power/thermal characterization
- Contribute to firmware architecture, documentation, and design reviews
----------------------------------------
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in embedded firmware development
- Strong expertise in power and thermal management algorithms and embedded systems
- Experience with low-level driver development and board bring-up
- Familiarity with power states (ACPI S/C/P-states), DVFS, and thermal control mechanisms
- Proficiency in debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and software debuggers
- Strong collaboration skills across hardware, BIOS, OS, and validation teams
----------------------------------------
What You’ll Love About Working Here
We offer flexible work arrangements, a collaborative culture, and continuous learning opportunities. You’ll be part of a global team driving innovation in embedded systems and intelligent hardware platforms.
