Your Profile:

As a Tech Lead with Capgemini, you will be involved in leading the development and cutting-edge web applications, leveraging advaced skills to architect user centric interfaces and provide technical leadership for projects.

Ruby on Rails or Java Developer - 6+ years of experience
Expert experience in coding using languages and frameworks such as Java 21 with Spring Boot or Ruby on Rails 7 with ERB.
Advanced understanding of domain driven design and object-oriented programming.
Intermediate or above understanding of front-end technologies like Angular and React, TypeScript, HTML and server-side CSS pre-processors is highly recommended.
Advanced experience with RESTful APIs, ActiveRecords and RSpec or Hibernate and JUnit
Advanced understanding of web security concepts like OIDC, SSL and role-based security is recommended.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, ideally experienced with working in intercultural teams.

Your Role:

- Architecture Design: Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient software architectures for Java applications.

- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and direction to development teams, and enforce development and architecture best practices.

- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Technology Selection: Determine appropriate technologies, frameworks (e.g., Spring, Spring Boot), and tools for Java-based projects.

- Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews, ensure coding standards are met, and monitor application performance to identify and resolve issues.

- Security: Assess and implement security measures to ensure Java applications comply with security best practices and standards.

- Innovation: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and identify potential improvements in existing systems.

Note: You will be required to pass through SC Security Clearance if you are successful in this recruitment process, which is a condition of undertaking the role.
