About Us

- ITC Limited Agri Business Division is a leading agribusiness with operations spanning multiple geographies of India and diverse agricultural commodities and products. The business is dedicated to advancing sustainable Agri practices and achieving long term environmental, social and economical goals within the industry.
- The Senior Manager-Sustainability will lead the development and implementation of sustainability strategies across our Agri business operations. This role is pivotal in driving sustainable practices and aligning business units with sustainability standards.

Requirements

Strategic Leadership

- Develop and execute the company's sustainability strategy, aligning with corporate goals and standards
- Oversee the integration of sustainability initiatives across all business units and geographies
- Act as a key advisor to senior business management on sustainability related issues and opportunities
- To drive the upcoming Net Zero Commitment of ITC at divisional level and provide support at Corporate level

Program Management

- Design and implement sustainability programs and initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impact and promoting social responsibility
- Monitor and report on sustainability performance metrics ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Drive innovation in sustainable practices and technologies in Agri related operations

Stakeholder Engagement

- Foster relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, NGOs and industry groups to advance sustainability initiatives
- Engage with internal teams to promote a culture of sustainability and ensure alignment with company objectives

Reporting and Communication

- Prepare and present sustainability reports to senior management and external stakeholders
- Communicate sustainability achievements and progress to internal and external audiences
- Strong understanding and experience in GRI standards and ESG standards

Risk Management

- Identify and assess sustainability related risks and opportunities within the agribusiness operations

Develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure robust management of environmental and social impacts

Bachelor's degree in B.Sc. Agri, Sustainability, Agriculture or related field.

Masters would be preferred

Skills Required

- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse teams
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong understanding of global sustainability standards, regulatory requirements and industry best practices

Experience Required

- Min 10 years of experience required in sustainability
- Proven track record in leading sustainability initiatives across multiple geographies and business units.
