Associate IS Business Analyst

Role Description:
As a Structured Content Management Business Analyst, you will act as a critical link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that structured content management systems are developed and optimized to meet business needs. Your primary responsibility will be to gather, analyze, and document related requirements while ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and content strategy. By translating business goals into detailed technical specifications, you will support the development and enhancement of structured content solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of both business processes and technical content management systems, enabling you to collaborate effectively with content strategists, software engineers, and other key stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work with business stakeholders to understand, elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including user stories, detail acceptance criteria, use cases, process flows, and requirements specifications.
- Participate in solution design discussions and contribute to brainstorming sessions for new business features.
- Partner with engineers to evaluate the feasibility of new features, ensuring that technical constraints and dependencies are considered.
- Provide support during the testing phase by coordinating with the testing team and resolving any issues related to business requirements.
- Perform data analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Work closely with scrum team to track the progress of solution implementation.
- Support and help with user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that delivered solutions meet business requirements.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transitions during changes or new implementation.
- Ensure that project documentation is updated and accessible for future use.
- Stay informed about new technologies, industry trends, and best practices in business analysis and project management.
Functional Skills:
Must-Have Skills:
- Ability to translate business needs into detailed requirement specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria and process flow diagram.
- Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, databases, and cloud-based systems.
- Experience working with databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Experience with product backlog management (e.g., Jira)and collaboration tools.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with structured content management, content models, and modular content creation.
- Experience with SaaS solutions, process automation or workflow management tools.
- Basic understanding of Python and GenAI solutions
Professional Certifications:
- Not required

- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and 0 to 3 years of Computer Science or IT experience OR
- Diploma and 4 to 7 years of Information Bachelors degree and 0 to 3
