Job Overview

The MEP Contracts Manager at Paradigm Realty will be a senior-level position based in Mumbai. This full-time role involves managing the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) contracts, ensuring that all aspects of budgeting, estimation, negotiation, and administration are conducted effectively and efficiently within the organization.

Qualifications and Skills

- Experience in MEP package budgeting and estimation to ensure precise financial planning and control. (Mandatory skill)
- Proficiency in negotiation to engage effectively with vendors and stakeholders and achieve favorable terms. (Mandatory skill)
- Strong contract administration skills for managing contracts lifecycle, including compliance and performance. (Mandatory skill)
- Ability to conduct detailed rate analysis for cost management and reduction in MEP projects.
- Engagement with MEP design consultants to ensure alignment with project requirements and goals.
- Experience with FAPA to oversee and manage MEP project phases from conception through completion.
- Excellent project management skills to maintain and drive project schedules and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate collaborations across different departments.

Roles and Responsibilities

Thorough knowledge of complete MEP package Budgeting & Estimation, Pre-qualification and Tendering, Rate analysis, value engg., Negotiation, Contract administrations including claim analysis and settlement.

Should be conversant with tools and techniques of value engg. of MEP design with the consultants and expertise in driving the cost optimization's exercise with all internal & external stakeholders.

To study the tender package, form the constructability and cost point of view and drive the value engg design changes with the MEP design consultants for the final GFC drg. release.

Candidate should have detailed industry knowledge for the ongoing material and labor rates for various MEP packages (Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting, CCTV, HVAC, Access Control, FAPA, DG, Hydro pneumatic system, Elevators and Car parking systems).

Candidate should have knowledge about the vendor / contractor assessment for the various MEP packages.

Prepare the Comparative with Technical considerations & further aggressively Negotiate with all the Contractors for Finalization of agency for the Floated Tender.

Person should have natural flare to develop relationship with contractors, consultants and building up long term relationship with them.

Draft, review, and negotiate MEP contracts with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure all contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards.

Collaborate with project managers and engineers to align MEP contract terms with project goals and specifications.

Drive the complete tendering process including Pre bid and post bid query handling, rate analysis, negotiation.

Candidate should prepare the requisite approvals papers for contractor appointment, continuously monitor budget vs cost and prepare periodic reports for the review by management.
