Position Overview:
Dayananda Sagar University invites applications for the role of Associate Professor in the School of Law. The candidate should possess strong teaching abilities, research credentials, and a commitment to academic leadership and student mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and develop curriculum in areas such as Constitutional Law, Corporate & Commercial Law, ADR, Cyber Law, etc.
- Mentor students in dissertations, moot courts, internships, and research activities.
- Publish in peer-reviewed indexed journals.
- Engage actively with DSU's legal research centres and law outreach programmes.
- Contribute to departmental administration, placement and curriculum committees, and external collaborations.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Ph.D. in Law with LL.M. (≥55% marks).
- 8-12 years of experience in academia or research, with at least 10 years at the Assistant Professor grade.
- Minimum 5 publications in Scopus/WoS/UGC‑CARE journals.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong teaching and research profile.
- Experience in designing and updating curriculum.
- Interest in corporate/commercial law, dispute resolution, environmental law, intellectual property, etc.
- Active mentorship in student-driven legal activities.
