Position Overview
We are looking for a data-driven Product Manager with strong analytical skills and healthcare domain expertise to drive product strategy for our claims processing platform. This role requires the ability to understand the RCM space, analyse complex healthcare data and translate insights into actionable product improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap:
- Define and execute product roadmap across RCM domain including claims processing, provider management, and member services
- Analyze healthcare claims data to identify refinement/optimization opportunities and user pain points
- Collaborate with clinical teams to understand healthcare workflows and regulatory requirements
- Drive product decisions based on data analysis, user feedback, and business impact
Data Analysis & Insights:
- Write complex SQL queries to analyze claims patterns, processing times, and error rates
- Create dashboards and reports for stakeholders on key product metrics and KPIs
- Conduct deep-dive analysis on claims adjudication accuracy, provider network utilization, and member experience
- Identify data quality issues and work with engineering teams on resolution strategies
Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with clinical operations, finance, and compliance teams to understand business requirements
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to design intuitive interfaces for complex healthcare workflows
- Work closely with engineering teams to define technical requirements and acceptance criteria
- Present product insights and recommendations to executive leadership
Domain and Behavioural:
- Understand claim workflows and critical domains like rules management, eligibility and claims orchestration
- Analyse competitive landscape, available tools and industry best practices
- Experience with healthcare claims processing, medical coding, or payer operations
- Strong ownership and accountability drive combined with ability to roll sleeves up and get work done
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of product management experience, preferably in healthcare RCM domain
- SQL skills with experience analyzing large datasets and complex data relationships
- Experience with analytics tools (Tableau, Looker, or similar) and A/B testing methodologies will be an advantage
- Strong communication skills and ability to present insights to diverse audiences
Good to have (but not mandatory)
- Healthcare industry experience with knowledge of medical coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS), healthcare data standards and interoperability (HL7, FHIR)
- Experience with machine learning applications in healthcare or claims processing
- MBA or advanced degree in healthcare administration, data science, or related field
