At American Express our culture is built on a 175-year history of innovation shared and Leadership Behaviors and an unwavering commitment to back our customers communities and colleagues As part of Team Amex you ll experience this powerful backing with comprehensive support for your holistic well-being and many opportunities to learn new skills develop as a leader and grow your career Here your voice and ideas matter your work makes an impact and together you will help us define the future of American Express Functional Description Enterprise Comms MarTech Experiences ECMX is a global organization that sits within U S Consumer Services USCS and is American Express marketing services center of excellence with the charter of driving high quality customer-first marketing that accelerates business growth through optimized go-to-market solutions and the development of best-in-class MarTech products processes Purpose of the role The Associate would play a key role as part of Product team for Customer Marketing Performance Insights CMPI is a Reporting and Insights capability which aims at providing Performance Insights on campaigns offers and multiple products Specific activities will include working closely with business and technology partners to define Business requirements designing process and engaging stakeholders to drive change management We are looking for a candidate with proficiency in Tableau Hive Python and Spark along with capability product management and project management Responsibilities Create enhance and maintain data and reporting capabilities on big data and Google Cloud environment Collaborate with partners across business units to understand the business objectives convert it to technical requirements and provide quality solutions that meet partner requirements Develop understanding of Card member data and associated platforms in marketing and analytics processes and leverage the same to define and transform the data to generate insights Explore and leverage different business intelligence tools like Tableau and custom tools to create and manage various business intelligence reports dashboards for different product managers Identify and implement the opportunities to enhance process efficiency through increased standardization and automation in order to reduce manual effort Leading discussions with technologies and business partners during capability development life cycle including end to end testing of the product feature Active involvement in Program Increment PI planning process Ensure scrum team backlog is prioritized and updated Define stories and providing necessary clarifications to assist with story estimation and sequencing Past Experience and Academic Background 1-3 Years of Systems Programming Product Capability management Project Management Experience managing projects from inception to implementation Good understanding of Data warehouse concepts Cubes dimensions OLAP Visualization tools -
