Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer with over 5 years of hands-on

experience in automation testing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in

designing and building robust automation frameworks from scratch. You will play a key role

in driving quality engineering initiatives across our products by building scalable automation

solutions and contributing to continuous quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop end-to-end test automation frameworks for web, and API

testing.

Build and maintain a scalable and modular automation architecture that supports

CI/CD pipelines.

Collaborate with developers, manual QAs, and product managers to define and

implement automation strategies.

Identify automation opportunities, create test plans, and write test scripts using

industry-standard tools.

Conduct regular code reviews, improve test coverage, and optimize execution

performance.

Maintain detailed documentation of test framework architecture and automation

processes.

Lead automation initiatives and mentor junior QA engineers on best practices.

Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar

tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of full-time experience in test automation, with strong expertise in Java.

Demonstrated experience in creating automation frameworks using tools like

Selenium, REST Assured.

Solid understanding of test principles across different test levels unit, integration,

functional, regression.

Hands-on experience with test runners like TestNG and BDD tools like Cucumber.

Proficiency with build tools (Maven/Gradle), source control (Git), and CI/CD

(Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
