Job Description Job Summary Synechron is actively seeking a seasoned Senior Full Stack Developer with expertise in Node.js and React.js to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying scalable microservices within the Transaction Banking domain. Your leadership and technical skills will drive innovation, ensuring seamless integration with core banking systems, payment gateways, and enterprise platforms. Software Requirements - Required Software Skills: - Node.js (Version 14.x or higher) - React.js (Version 17.x or higher) - REST API development and consumption - Git (version control) - Docker (containerization) - Jenkins or equivalent CI/CD tools - Cloud platforms (preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP) - PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar databases - Preferred Software Skills: - Kubernetes (container orchestration) - AI and automation tools to enhance development processes - Modern monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus) Overall Responsibilities - Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand, analyze, and refine technology solutions for Transaction Banking processes. - Lead the full development lifecycle: design, coding, testing, deployment, and support of microservices architectures. - Provide technical mentorship to junior and mid-level developers, fostering best practices in coding, security, and software design. - Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance applications aligned with enterprise standards. - Integrate software solutions across core banking systems, payment hubs, and gateways, ensuring reliable data flow and transaction integrity. - Work closely with DevOps teams to define and implement CI/CD pipelines, optimize system performance, and ensure system security. - Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality and streamline workflows. - Maintain a focus on compliance, security standards, and operational reliability. Technical Skills (By Category) Programming Languages: - Essential: Node.js, React.js - Preferred: Typescript, Python Databases / Data Management: - Essential: Relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL - Preferred: NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra Cloud Technologies: - Essential: Cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) - Preferred: Cloud-native services, serverless architectures Frameworks and Libraries: - Essential: React.js, Node.js frameworks (Express.js) - Preferred: Redux, GraphQL Development Tools & Methodologies: - Essential: Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) - Preferred: Kubernetes, automating deployments and testing Security Protocols: - Essential: Implementation of OAuth, HTTPS, data encryption - Preferred: Security best practices in microservices and API management Experience Requirements - Minimum 8 years of professional software development experience, with at least 5 years in full-stack development involving Node.js and React.js. - Proven experience designing and deploying microservices architectures at scale. - Demonstrated background working within banking, financial services, or payment domains, especially corporate banking or transaction processing. - Experience integrating with enterprise systems such as Core Banking platforms, Payment Hubs, and Payment Gateways. - Familiarity with cloud deployment, DevOps practices, and secure software development. - Prior leadership experience in guiding technical teams and managing complex projects is preferred but not mandatory. Day-to-Day Activities - Conduct requirements gathering sessions and clarify business needs with stakeholders. - Architect and develop scalable microservices and front-end applications. - Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Security, QA, and Business Analysts. - Write clean, maintainable code, adhering to coding standards and best practices. - Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and system testing. - Troubleshoot and optimize existing applications for performance and reliability. - Promote continuous improvement through automation and AI-assisted methodologies. - Document technical solutions and provide guidance on implementation strategies. Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Certifications related to cloud platforms, microservices, or enterprise architecture are desirable. - Ongoing professional development in relevant technologies and best practices. - Formal training in secure coding practices and agile methodologies.
