Job Description Responsibilities - Provide on-site technical support for installation, commissioning, and performance monitoring of refractory products. - Coordinate and oversee product trials at customer sites, ensuring smooth execution and accurate reporting of results. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to refractory applications in thermal/process industries. - Conduct performance analysis and prepare technical reports for internal teams and customers. - Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and recommend suitable refractory solutions. - Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular site visits, technical consultations, and after-sales service. - Train customer staff on proper handling, installation, and maintenance of refractory products. - Maintain accurate service records, project documentation, and feedback for continuous improvement. - Support business development by identifying opportunities for new products, services, or process improvements. - Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards during on-site activities. Skills & Competencies - Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Ceramic, or Chemical Engineering. - 25 years of experience in a technical service, application engineering, or field service role (preferably in refractory or thermal/process industries). - Strong understanding of refractory products, installation techniques, and thermal industry operations. - Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting tools. - Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites. Key Skills - Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. - Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. - Attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety. - Customer-focused mindset with a proactive service approach.
