About the Role As a Senior Finance Analyst at Origin Medical Research Lab, you must realize the set business objectives of the company by managing the funds effectively to meet the bottom line as budgeted, complying with thecompany's statutory obligations, and avoiding litigation. What will you do Accounting - Able to do day-to-day accounting in compliance with statutory requirements. - Maintaining fixed assets register. - Monthly closing of books of accounts. - Making payments to vendors on time. Budgeting & Forecasting: - Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts. - Monitor and analyze budget variances and provide actionable insights to management. - Collaborate with department heads to ensure budgets align with business objectives. - Identify potential financial risks, such as cash flow shortages or unexpected expenses, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks. Payroll Management: - Oversee payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate salary payments. - Coordinate with HR to manage payroll deductions, bonuses, and benefits. - Ensure compliance with local and national payroll regulations. Compliance Filings: - Prepare and submit financial reports and compliance filings in accordance with regulatory requirements. - Assist in internal and external audits. Financial Modeling: - Develop and maintain financial models to support business decision-making. - Analyze financial data and create detailed reports for management review. - Conduct scenario analysis to evaluate potential business opportunities and risks. Investor Management: - Support investor relations by preparing financial statements, reports, and presentations. - Assist in managing communication with investors and responding to inquiries. - Maintain accurate records of investor transactions and compliance documentation. Who are we looking for - Bachelor's degree in B.Com, MBA, or CA-Inter. - 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related role. - Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. - Statutory and legal compliance with audit standards and government regulations. - Strong knowledge of accounting, GST, and income taxes. - Basic knowledge of ZOHO Books. - Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively both verbally and in writing in English. - Proficiency in computing skills, enhancing productivity, and facilitating efficient use of technologyfor various tasks. - A person with a can-do approach who can work well under pressure and manage emergenciesefficiently. - We are looking for well-rounded leaders and team players with the skills and drive to make an impact.
