Job Description We are actively seeking a highly seasoned and strategic Squad Lead to join our client's team through Acme Services. This pivotal role calls for an experienced project/program manager with 14+ years of experience, particularly in setting up and managing large teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background (preferably Java), exceptional people management skills, and a deep understanding of Agile methodologies. You will be responsible for developing and executing training plans, ensuring project readiness, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality results. Key Responsibilities - Team Setup & Development: Lead the effort in setting up big teams, focusing on understanding team members needs to prepare comprehensive training and upskilling plans. Execute these training plans as programs to ensure team members are project-ready. - Technical Acumen & Support: Leverage a technical background (preferably in Java) to effectively connect with and understand the technical topics and needs of the team. - Cross-Discipline Coordination: Coordinate with cross-discipline team members to ensure all parties are on track and aligned with project goals. - Quality Assurance & Deliverables: Oversee the submission of required deliverables and ensure they consistently adhere to quality standards. - Reporting & Analysis: Prepare detailed status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing project information for stakeholders. - People Management: Demonstrate excellent People Management skills and the ability to handle big teams effectively, fostering a positive and productive environment. - Problem Solving & Collaboration: Apply strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, collaboration, negotiation, and cross-cultural support skills to navigate complex scenarios. - Methodology Adherence: Possess strong Project Management methodology skills & Agile Methodologies expertise. - Stakeholder & Process Understanding: Understand stakeholders and the RACI matrix concept for clear role and responsibility definition. - Offshore Team Management & Transition: Experience in handling teams at offshore locations and possessing transition experience for seamless project handovers. - Project Monitoring: Monitor various projects running in different work streams, ensuring overall progress and identifying potential roadblocks. Skills - 14+ years of project/program management experience. - Proven experience in setting up big teams. - Ability to understand team members needs and create training/upskilling plans. - Skilled in executing training programs to make teams project-ready. - Technical background (preferably Java) to connect with technical topics. - Proficiency in coordinating with cross-discipline team members. - Competence in submitting required deliverables and ensuring quality standards. - Adept at preparing status reports through data gathering and analysis. - (Optional) Externally and internally certified. - Excellent People Management skills and ability to handle big teams. - Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, collaboration, negotiation, and cross-cultural support skills. - Strong Project Management methodology skills & Agile Methodologies. - Understanding of stakeholders and RACI matrix concept. - Experience handling teams at offshore and transition experience. - Ability to monitor various projects across different work streams. Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field. - Extensive experience in leading and managing large-scale projects and teams.
