Job Category Engineering Design Services About Business Adani Group Adani Group is a diversified organisation in India comprising 10 publicly traded companies It has created a world-class logistics and utility infrastructure portfolio that has a pan-India presence Adani Group is headquartered in Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat India Over the years Adani Group has positioned itself to be the market leader in its logistics and energy businesses focusing on large-scale infrastructure development in India with O M practices benchmarked to global standards With four IG-rated businesses it is the only Infrastructure Investment Grade issuer in India Job Purpose The ERC Engineer - Mechanical supports the ERC Lead - Mechanical in managing mechanical engineering aspects related to material handling systems for mining projects This role involves assisting in engineering design technical specifications vendor coordination and fostering innovation to deliver efficient solutions Responsibilities ERC Engineer - Mechanical - Mining Engineering Design Support Assist in concept basic and detailed engineering of material handling systems for mining projects Aid in preparing general arrangement drawings for conveyor profiles and transfer towers Contribute to developing Bill of Quantities BOQ presentations project reports conveyor schedules mechanical load lists design bases layouts and process flow diagrams Technical Specification and Tendering Support in preparing technical specifications for purchased items Assist in developing EPC tender documents Participate in vendor discussions communications for mechanical equipment and conveyor accessories and stay updated on new technology updates Contribute to preparing technical evaluation and recommendation sheets for vendor offers Value Engineering and Innovation Assist in implementing new technologies and evaluating designs based on value analysis Support in maintaining proper interface detailing with other departments Stay informed about trends and innovations in mining and material handling systems updating the team manager accordingly Vendor Coordination and Communication Participate in discussions with vendors regarding mechanical equipment and conveyor accessories Stay updated on advancements in mining and material handling systems technology Support effective communication with vendors to align project requirements with technological advancements Technology and IT Support Utilize MS Office AutoCAD and conveyor calculation software e g Beltstat or Sidewinder as needed Stay familiar with new technologies in mining and material handling systems to enhance project efficiency and innovation Key Stakeholders - Internal Project site BD Mining TCD P E PRMC Contract Admin Cement business Beach Sand Minerals team Key Stakeholders - External Vendors Contractors Qualifications Educational Qualification BE Mechanical Work Experience Range of years 3 to 7 years
