Inviting applications for the role of Consultant - Artifactory Technical Solutions Expert
We are seeking a seasoned Artifactory Technical Solutions Expert to manage and optimize our software engineering platforms, with a focus on JFrog Artifactory. This role involves overseeing repository management, build integrations, and ensuring secure and efficient artifact lifecycle management across development teams.

Responsibilities:
.Administer and maintain JFrog Artifactory repositories for various package types (Maven, npm, Docker, etc.)
.Integrate Artifactory with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps
.Define and enforce repository structures, naming conventions, and retention policies
.Troubleshoot build failures and artifact resolution issues across environments
.Manage access controls, permissions, and repository replication strategies
.Monitor system performance and optimize storage usage
.Ensure compliance with software licensing and security policies
.Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to streamline artifact workflows
.Document best practices and contribute to platform roadmap and technical POCs

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications / Skills
.Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
.Good experience in Artifactory administration and DevOps tooling
.Strong understanding of build and release management processes
.Familiarity with infrastructure systems (e.g., Azure, virtualization, databases, networking)
.Experience with scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, Groovy) for automation
.Knowledge of container registries and Docker image management
.Exposure to security scanning tools and vulnerability management
Preferred qualifications / Skills
.Very good written and presentation / verbal communication skills with experience of customer interfacing role. In-depth requirement understanding skills with good analytical and problem-solving ability, interpersonal efficiency, and positive attitude Experience with XWiki, GitLab, or other software engineering platforms
.Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
.Ability to manage complex incidents and support operations teams
.Excellent communication and documentation skills
