Job Description AutoCAD Draftsman Water Treatment Projects Location: Thane, Maharashtra Job Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 15 years Job Summary Jalamrut Water Treatment Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman with experience in water and wastewater treatment projects. The role involves developing accurate technical drawings for treatment plants, pipelines, pump houses, and supporting infrastructure. The candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality design documentation aligned with industry standards and client expectations. Key Responsibilities - Prepare detailed 2D/3D AutoCAD drawings for water/wastewater treatment plants and related infrastructure - Create P&IDs, piping layouts, general arrangement (GA) drawings, and equipment layouts - Support civil/structural detailing as per project scope - Coordinate with engineers to translate design concepts into precise drawings - Update and revise drawings based on engineer/site feedback - Maintain drawing libraries, CAD standards, and drawing logs - Ensure all drawings comply with applicable codes and client specifications - Assist in generating construction, permit, and as-built drawings - Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure design compatibility Requirements - Education: Diploma or Degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or related field - Experience: Minimum 2 years in drafting for water/wastewater or infrastructure projects - Software Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) - Domain Knowledge: - Understanding of water/wastewater treatment layouts, equipment placement, and process flow diagrams - Familiarity with drafting standards, BOQs, and technical detailing - Other Skills: - High attention to detail and accuracy - Good organizational and file management skills - Ability to multitask and meet deadlines - Strong communication and team collaboration Why Join Jalamrut Be part of a fast-growing company delivering impactful water infrastructure solutions.
