Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mumbai for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, preparing financial reports, and supervising accounting staff. Day-to-day tasks include bookkeeping, budget forecasting, auditing, and analyzing financial data to support business decisions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting software, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Experience with budget forecasting and financial analysis
- Supervisory skills to manage and mentor accounting staff
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
