Senior Software Engineer

Job Description Job Description We're hiring a seasoned, handson Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and operate fullstack cloud applications with a strong emphasis on AI/ML-powered features. You'll work closely with product, design, QA, and engineering teams across multiple geographies to deliver scalable microservices, contentdriven React + AEM front ends, and AI-enabled services on Google Cloud. Strong experience in automated testing (BDD/Gherkin) and modern test frameworks is required. Responsibilities - Build and maintain fullstack features using React (integrated with AEM) and Java/Spring Boot microservices. - Design, implement, and operate cloudnative services on GCP cloud environments. - Integrate AI/ML capabilities into products (model inference, feature pipelines, embeddings, generative AI use cases, etc.) and collaborate with data/ML teams on deployment and MLOps. - Develop and maintain automated test suites (unit, API, integration, endtoend) and author BDD scenarios. - Implement test automation using Selenium, Playwright, and/or Cypress and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines. - Lead technical architecture discussions, design reviews, and crossfunctional collaboration across distributed, multigeography teams. - Mentor and grow engineers via pair programming, code reviews, and coaching; promote TDD, clean code, and refactoring. - Troubleshoot production issues, participate in incident reviews, and drive reliability and performance improvements. Qualifications - Minimum 8 years of professional experience, preferably with eCommerce platforms and integrations using fullstack technologies. - Proven ability to drive delivery through crossfunctional alignment and stakeholder collaboration. - Strong expertise in digital frontend technologies (React) and/or fullstack development using JavaScript and Spring Boot. - Comfortable making datadriven decisions to align engineering work with the product roadmap and business priorities. - Active participant in engineering team ceremonies; able to collaborate across teams to execute programs within the Mobile platform. - Working knowledge of cloud services and infrastructureascode practices. - Experience with SRE practices and CI tooling (examples: Cloud Build, Tekton); able to coordinate service activities with a focus on observability, tracing, and monitoring. - Demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse, multistakeholder teams. - Experience and willingness to operate in a global delivery model. - Excellent written and verbal communication; able to adapt style to different audiences. - Proven track record of driving development of complex, highly technical services and capabilities. - Experience with deployments via source control/change sets and building CI/CD pipelines.
