This hybrid role requires a strategic thinker with 8 to 12 years of experience to develop and implement business strategies that align with company goals. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance business performance and achieve measurable outcomes. Responsibilities - Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive growth and achieve company objectives. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities. - Utilize Business Scorecard techniques to measure and improve business performance. - Conduct market research and analysis to inform strategic decision-making. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster business development. - Lead negotiations and manage contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions. - Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market. - Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to support business growth. - Oversee the preparation of business proposals and presentations for potential clients. - Ensure alignment of business development activities with company goals and objectives. - Manage and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and performance. - Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of business development strategies. - Track and report on key performance indicators to measure success and identify areas for improvement. Qualifications - Demonstrate expertise in Business Scorecard techniques to drive business performance. - Possess strong analytical skills to conduct market research and analysis. - Exhibit excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage stakeholder relationships. - Have experience in developing and implementing strategic business plans. - Show proficiency in preparing business proposals and presentations. - Display the ability to monitor industry trends and competitor activities. - Bring experience in managing and mentoring junior team members. - Have a background in Cheminformatics as a nice-to-have domain skill. - Be adept at coordinating with cross-functional teams for strategy execution. - Possess strong problem-solving skills to provide insights and recommendations. - Show capability in tracking and reporting on key performance indicators. - Demonstrate the ability to lead negotiations and manage contracts. - Exhibit a strategic mindset to align business development activities with company goals.
