The team oversees corporate governance, ensuring adherence to statutory obligations and facilitating effective board and shareholder engagements. The team proactively manages compliance across multiple regulated sectors, adapting to evolving regulatory landscapes. About the Role As an Associate Manager II – Compliance, you’ll play a key role in supporting and strengthening Navi’s compliance framework. You’ll work closely with legal, business, and risk teams to ensure that Navi meets evolving regulatory expectations while enabling business growth. This role requires a sharp understanding of regulatory compliance, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to implement structured processes in a fast-paced environment. What We Expect From You - Monitor regulatory updates applicable to Navi (Middle Layer- NBFC) and to ensure alignment with applicable laws and guidelines. - Develop, implement, and review policies to maintain up-to-date compliance procedures across the organization. - Maintain accurate documentation and prepare timely, detailed reports for both internal leadership and regulatory bodies. - Support training programs to raise awareness of compliance requirements and embed best practices among employees. - Assist in risk assessments and audits to proactively identify compliance gaps and recommend improvements. - Participate in investigations related to compliance issues and prepare comprehensive reports with insights and recommendations. - Coordinate communication with regulators and ensure timely submission of required filings and responses. - Promote a culture of compliance by engaging stakeholders through regular communication and maintaining alignment on key priorities. Must Haves - Advanced degree in Law, CA, or CS is preferred. - Strong knowledge of compliance regulations and a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks. - Experience with multiple regulators RBI is desirable. - 3+ years of post-qualification experience in the Banking & Financial Services sector in a compliance, audit, or risk advisory function.Experience in handling regulatory inspections or audits is preferable. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to perform under pressure. - Effective interpersonal and people management skills to collaborate across teams. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with clarity and precision in presenting complex information.
