Job Description

What do you need to do (Role and Responsibilities)

- Design and illustrate 2D characters tailored for mobile gaming platforms
- Develop visually engaging 2D backgrounds, props, clothing, and additional game art assets
- Adhere to a structured production pipeline, ensuring timely and efficient creation of production-ready art
- Export and assemble final assets from source files, following technical guidelines and file specifications
- Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, techniques, and artistic workflows
- Maintain consistency by matching existing art styles and accurately identifying differences across visual styles
- Integrate and test assets in Unity to ensure seamless in-game performance.
- Regularly play our games to assess aesthetics, user experience, and gameplay flow.
- Offer clear, actionable feedback on visual and gameplay enhancements based on playtesting.
- Stay current with tools and workflows, adapting to new techniques as needed.
- Ensure visual consistency by matching established styles and identifying deviations.

Who could you be (Background, Experience, Skills)

- 6-7 years of experience in the gaming or animation industry, with a strong focus on mobile game development
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop with advanced 2D character illustration skills
- Experienced in creating 2D characters, backgrounds, props, clothing, and other visual assets for mobile games
- Able to follow and contribute to a structured production pipeline, ensuring efficient and technically accurate asset delivery
- Skilled in exporting and assembling images from art files according to defined technical parameters and protocols
- Quick to learn and apply new technical skills, tools, and workflows
- Strong aesthetic sense with a solid foundation in graphic design principles
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining thorough working habits
- Comfortable working in fast-paced production environments and meeting tight deadlines
- Passionate about mobile gaming-with hands-on experience in designing and producing art specifically for mobile game titles
- Capable of matching a wide range of art styles and visually distinguishing between them for consistent and cohesive asset creation
