Civil Engineer - BESS ProjectsWe are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team and contribute tothe successful execution of Battery Energy Storage Systems BESS projects This role willinvolve a wide range of civil engineering responsibilities from site selection and preparationto foundation design and construction The ideal candidate will have a strong understandingof geotechnical principles construction practices and safety regulations Key Responsibilities xefx82xb7 Site Selection Assessment o Assist in site selection and evaluation considering factors such asaccessibility soil conditions and environmental impact o Conduct site surveys and inspections to gather data for design andconstruction xefx82xb7 Foundation Design Engineering o Design and engineer foundations for BESS systems including xefx82xa7 Concrete foundationsxefx82xa7 Pile foundationsxefx82xa7 Ground improvement techniqueso Perform geotechnical analysis and soil investigations o Prepare foundation drawings and specifications xefx82xb7 Construction Oversight o Oversee the construction of BESS foundations and related civil works o Ensure compliance with construction drawings specifications and safetyregulations o Monitor progress and quality of construction work o Resolve any construction-related issues that may arise xefx82xb7 Permitting Approvals o Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals for construction activities o Coordinate with local authorities and stakeholders on construction matters xefx82xb7 Safety Environmental Compliance o Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental guidelines o Implement safety measures and conduct safety inspections o Minimize environmental impact during construction Qualifications xefx82xb7 Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering xefx82xb7 8 years of experience in civil engineering projects preferably with experience inrenewable energy or infrastructure projects xefx82xb7 Strong understanding of geotechnical engineering principles including soil mechanicsand foundation design xefx82xb7 Experience with construction drawings specifications and contracts xefx82xb7 Proficiency in relevant design software e g AutoCAD Civil 3D STAAD Pro xefx82xb7 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills xefx82xb7 Strong communication and interpersonal skills xefx82xb7 Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines Desired Skills xefx82xb7 Master s degree in Civil Engineering xefx82xb7 Experience with BESS projects or other renewable energy projects xefx82xb7 Knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes xefx82xb7 Experience with construction management software
