Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Manager based in Rajkot, Gujarat. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing procurement activities to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery of materials. The role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, evaluating vendor performance, and monitoring inventory levels to maintain optimal stock. The Purchasing Manager will also oversee the purchasing team, ensure compliance with company policies, and coordinate with other departments to meet business needs efficiently. Qualifications - Strong understanding of procurement, vendor management, and supply chain processes - Negotiation, budgeting, and cost analysis skills - Experience in inventory management and quality assurance processes - Proficiency in tools and software for procurement and inventory tracking - Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or relevant field - Previous experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar procurement role, preferably in a manufacturing and export-oriented industry - Knowledge of ISO standards and compliance requirements is an advantage
