Summary of the Role
We're looking for a C++ Application Developer to join our team and contribute to building scalable, cloud-ready applications on Linux platforms. You'll work across development, maintenance, and transversal activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern technologies in a dynamic environment while supporting continuous improvement and mentoring team members.
In This Role You'll
- Design and develop C++ applications on Linux platforms, with a focus on containerized, cloud-native architectures.
- Break down technical tasks from user stories and support team members in day-to-day development activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including Product Managers, Account Managers, Business Analysts, and Quality Analysts.
- Investigate and resolve issues from production and test systems, ensuring quick turnaround and minimal impact.
- Contribute to code reviews, regression testing, and continuous integration using internal tools and best practices.
About the Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6-9 years of hands-on experience in C++, Unix/Linux environments, and relational databases such as Oracle or MySQL.
- Proficient in object-oriented programming, data structures, STL, Boost libraries, and design patterns.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud delivery models (PaaS, SaaS, IaaS).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting tools (e.g., GDB, Valgrind), and unit testing frameworks like CppUnit
