About the Role

On behalf of our client, Sai Biz Associates is seeking an experienced Geologist with strong expertise in Joint Ore Control (JOC) and chrome mining operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in geological mapping, ore body modeling, and grade control to ensure optimal extraction efficiency and resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct geological mapping, sampling, and drilling supervision in chrome mining sites.
- Implement Joint Ore Control (JOC) procedures to accurately differentiate ore and waste.
- Analyze and interpret geological data to optimize mine planning and minimize ore loss/dilution.
- Prepare and maintain block models and grade control reports.
- Collaborate with mine planning, survey, and metallurgical teams to achieve production targets.
- Ensure all work complies with safety, environmental, and operational standards.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Experience in chrome mining with proven JOC expertise.
- Proficiency in geological software (Surpac, Datamine, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work in remote mining locations.
