Job Description THE ROLE: The Design Software Verification team plays a critical role in verifying part of the AMD EDA tool chain for both pre and post-silicon support. We are looking for a dynamic, upbeat software engineer to join our growing team. As a key contributor you will be part of a leading team to drive and enhance AMD s abilities to deliver the highest quality,industry-leadingtechnologies to market. THE PERSON: The ideal candidatepossessesan innovativeandproblem-solvingmindset,hasa keen eye for Software engineering development, andisdiligent and passionate aboutTechnology. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop and drive execution of comprehensive, highly effective software for sophisticated new technology and new product introduction projects - Responsible for verification and Validation of new SW features around AIE Engine of Versal devices, before releasing them to customers - Ability to understand complex systems consisting of DSP/ML intensive algorithms - Actively explores innovative methods for verification and validation of these platform designs using automated infrastructure and reduced/smaller designs - Uses the product as a customer would to understand strengths and areas for improvement. Performs advanced interactive testing and can assist with defining quality metrics - Collaborate closely with multiple teams and Project Managers to drive high quality software releases PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor s with 3+ years or Master s with 1+ years of relavent experience - Goodknowledge and hands-on experience in C, C++and Python with deep understandingof object-oriented-design principles - Good understanding in one of the domains: Machine Learning, Data Center and Wireless applications - Fluent in Python/Shell script or equivalent languages - Good analysis and debug skills in either software or hardware ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: - Bachelor sorMaster sdegree in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
