Responsibilities Preventive Maintenance Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity Troubleshooting Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment including hydraulic pneumatic and mechanical systems Repairs Perform repairs and replacements of defective parts and components to restore equipment functionality Equipment Inspection Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards Technical Documentation Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities including work orders inspection reports and equipment manuals Inventory Management Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies ensuring availability of necessary components for repairs Safety Compliance Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards Implement safety protocols to mitigate risks Calibration Calibrate and adjust mechanical equipment to ensure accurate and efficient operation Welding and Fabrication Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed to repair or modify equipment Vendor Coordination Coordinate with external vendors for the procurement of parts and services required for maintenance activities Emergency Repairs Respond to emergency maintenance requests and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance processes and implement best practices Qualifications Education Bachelor s degree in Mechanical or a related field A Master s degree is preferred Experience 9 years of experience in Mechanical and control systems within the petrochemical industry
